The Boston Police Department and Boston Police Runner's Club invite you to the 12th running of Boston's Run To Remember on Sunday, May 29, 2016.  Boston’s Run To Remember is a half marathon or 5 mile run through historic downtown Boston. Number pick up and Sports and Fitness expo is Saturday May 28th. The race start and the Expo will be held at the Seaport World Trade Center, Boston.

Honor all 1st Responders killed in the line of duty by celebrating their lives and giving back to the community.

 

Net proceeds benefit Community and kids programs of the Boston Police Runner's Club.

 

 

RESTRICTIONS:

Please note: we are not allowed to have people pushing strollers with children and we are NOT able to accommodate walkers on the Half marathon route. It has been determined by the licensing authorities that is is unsafe for the child as well as other runners, therefor we are not able to allow people pushing strollers with children on the race course.  The licensing entities are requiring that we open the streets to vehicle traffic as soon as possible. Any runners who do not reach the 2 Mile mark within 28 minutes from start WILL be diverted to the 5 mile course.

The Mayor, LAPD Chief, LA Sheriff, the Fire chief and a few city councilors helped launch the event in fine fashion last week.

 

 

 

 

Even some of our Troops in Afghanistan showed tribute by running their own Boston's Run To Remember while over 8,800 ran in Boston in 2013.
